Non-accessible content

This website has been partially tested, so some issues may not have been identified or may not be fully compliant.

Disproportionate burden

Content outside the scope of the regulations

Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential for providing our services. For example, forms or guidance on accessing services.

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix non-essential documents published before 23 September 2018. Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared in January 2026.
It was last reviewed in March 2026.

Testing approach

The website was last tested in March 2026 by the Home Office. Testing included:

  • Microsoft for Business version 144
  • JAWS 2025
  • NVDA 2025.3.1

At the time of testing, the service was not available across all devices or browsers. Mobile testing was limited but will be expanded as soon as possible, as mobile interfaces may affect some behaviours.

Testing focused on the ability of users to complete key journeys. These journeys were selected based on usage statistics, risk assessments, and subject matter, and included document access.
