Call for Evidence
The Chair has launched a Call for Evidence, marking a significant step in our collective pursuit of truth.
The Inquiry welcomes views from those involved in and affected by the events that took place at Orgreave Coking Plant on 18 June 1984. Information on how to respond can be found in the Call for Evidence. Your contribution will be treated with the utmost care and may provide further detail or context to the relevant issues. Different perspectives can be highly valuable to assist the Inquiry. Responses are invited by 22nd May 2026.
Core Participants and Hearings
The Inquiry will initially focus on the Call for Evidence, the issuing of Rule 9 requests, and consideration of responses. Further information on Core Participant status and the position on oral hearings will follow in due course.
